Freedom Through Christ Alone

At Faith Recovery Now, we teach that true freedom from addiction, whatever has hold of you, cannot be found in human programs alone, but only in the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Law, Gospel, and the Only True Hope

We are unapologetically rooted in the Reformed tradition. At the heart of our recovery approach is the life-changing truth of the law and the gospel. The law exposes our sin, our weakness, and our inability to overcome addiction on our own. It shows us how powerless we are — how desperately we need a Savior.

But the gospel shines brighter. It proclaims that Jesus Christ lived the perfect life we could not, bore the punishment we deserve, and freely offers His righteousness to all who believe.

This is the foundation of true, lasting recovery. Not through sheer willpower, not through man-made steps, but through the transforming power of Christ alone.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

What We Believe

✓Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura) is our final authority.
✓Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
✓The gospel — not steps, programs, or willpower — breaks addiction.
✓God's law convicts; Christ's gospel redeems and restores.
✓The local church is God's means of grace for believers in recovery.

The Stakes Are Eternal

The Bible is clear: hell is real. God is holy and just, and every person will ultimately be held accountable for their choices. Sin enslaves, addiction entices, and pride blinds — yet God offers a way of escape through faith in Jesus Christ.

For those who turn to Christ, there is hope, redemption, and eternal life. God does not delight in punishment; He delights in reconciliation. His desire is for you to come to Him, surrender your life, and follow His will faithfully.

Seek Him now. Pray. Repent. Follow Christ.
